Carlos Núñez, Philip Pickett and the Musicians of the Globe - Two Pipers Piping is an electrifying collaboration reviving the dazzling traditional Scottish and Irish jigs, reels, rants, hornpipes and haunting ballad tunes blown, strummed and scraped in the streets, stews, taverns, theatres and ballrooms of old London.

Brilliant Galician piper and iconic Celtic folk-legend Carlos Núñez and two members of his band join international early music stars Philip Pickett & Musicians of the Globe in a riotous evening of pipes, whistles, fiddles, guitars, bandora, drums and more.

Carlos Núñez’s passion for making musical connections – from guesting with The Chieftains to working with Mike Scott of The Waterboys – has been at the core of his international success. Whilst Philip Pickett’s folk-rock history includes projects with the Albion Band, members of Fairport Convention and both Richard & Linda Thompson, as well as collaborating with Richard Thompson in an acclaimed ballad project.
